Register or Login to view.before i get every astronomer freaking out. Yes I know the stars in Bootes have the same name. That is how they are listed on the old Arabic chart.
Still working on this as Ophiuchus is huge. Quite an intriguing chart as is seems to be a 'bad' time of the year, as draco is in the center of the sky and the serpents are amok.Booties might need to be elongated, but without any Arabic names for Hercules, still working on it.
disappointed that these were merged as they were 2 different star charts.
the second chart Ophiuchus/Asclepius were intertwined and the VM made reference to the breach of a promise, which dealt with immortality or the philosophers stone.
Here is the updated You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. star chart. I have purposely not wrote in Ophiuchus or Hercules as I am looking for the most ancient astronomy chart for the Ophiuchus constellation. The Voynich in the upper paragraph tells us that his head was cut off, and actually astronomy agrees with this, and that the serpents were cut up as well to make seperate constellation. Not a secure site You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. But the word play about the constellation, is eerily similar to the word play of the Voynich on this star chart and in the 9 rosette folio about.
If anyone is interested in the 3 charts done so far, here is the link You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view. Working on the sunray one currently and one word i need to correct (type) should have read 'stare' not star on the paragraph for the fear this next chart. It speaks of Ophiuchus.
