RE: Every terminal glyph has a tail... - -JKP- - 15-12-2020 I wish I knew the answer to that. This character m in Latin is usually interpreted as the abbreviation for "-ris" and its homonyms, almost always used at the ends of words (an r with the common is/es abbreviation). But... in the VMS, is it a minim with a looped tail? Or is it an r with a downward-pointing tail? Or is it a -ris shape? Like its Latin shape-mates, it's usually at the ends of words.
