RE: Who is even still working on a solution for the VMS? - magnesium - 23-06-2026 To chime in here after a few months of relative radio silence, there are a couple things I am continuing to work on: 1. Attempting to further reconcile the Naibbe cipher with the multi-scale statistical properties of the VMS. The idea here is not to "prove" the Naibbe cipher but rather to explore how certain VMS features (e.g., long-range correlations) could arise within the cipher in a self-consistent way. I have made meaningful progress on this front. 2. More general statistical analyses of the VMS related to its structure and behavior at the line, page, folio, and bifolium/quire levels. I have submitted one such abstract to Voynich 2026.
