Basic cryptology: Signs, symbols, images, are only meant to cause confusion. Thus, the VM signs can be assumed to be intended to simulate a foreign spelling and language. In the example mosaic it is quite easy to transform it back into a known string of characters. To keep it simple, I also say that it is a 1 to 1 encryption. The original text was surely written by hand. |
