Does it really matter?  Regardless of whether  an LLM was used or not, the paper and the work are complete horse crap. 
Yes -- One should be tolerant of researchers who happen to have poorer skills. But this goes beyond that -- it is an offensive waste of everyone's time.

Because asking people to explain their findings is easier than torturing yourself 5 times a week with pages of gobbledygook, unless the Ninja forums starts paying for mods time
