1. In the VMS, something extends beyond the circle, and that seems to be a key feature; the narrowing appears to represent something like perspective. In the Arabic circles, all the triangles remain within the circle.
2. The VMS has 8 semicircles, while the Arabic circles have only 4
3. The triangles in the Arabic circles start on the circle itself, while in the VMS they start on the semicircles.
4. In the center, the VMS contains additional drawings that are missing from the Arabic circles.
5. The triangle was obviously started at the center of the circle; this is also not the case in the VMS.
You should focus not only on the similarities but also on the differences; that would be more scientific....
