Has anyone actually tried seeing how far you can get using these substitutions? Like, try to reverse engineer why probably-Marci chose these substitutions specifically?
Something else that's weird: normally, when you see an alphabet shifted one location in a cipher context, that means a simple Caesar cipher, right? But the combination of a Caesar cipher and using Voynichese glyphs would be utterly nonsensical.
