But I don't understand how has everything been checked against MSI images if only a select few underwent MSI imaging?
We're talking about the differences across the entire manuscript, right? So, if the camera is not the cause of these lightness/yellowing trends we should expect the results to be the same across the board for the 2004 scans as well (after being normalised in some way).
