I've already made charts of these writing systems documenting which ones are similar to those in Voynichese. My blog on the Indic numerals was an introduction.
I know the symbols well enough to be able to write them without consulting a reference, and which syllables they stand for (although my knowledge is specific to the 13th to 15th centuries, not the later scripts). I can puzzle out basic nouns, as long as it's not written with a lot of ligatures (like medieval Latin, the Indic languages have many ligatures).
I mention this only so we don't get a lot of duplication of effort.
Yes it is very interesting. I didn't find as many commonalities as there are between Latin medieval abbreviated scripts and Voynichese, but both Latin and Sanscrit/Nagari/Gujarati have Indo-European roots, so there are a few things of interest in the older scripts.
