  Does anyone here use the Voynich 1.01 TTF font? The font file name is 'voynich.ttf' and I downloaded it from You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login to view.
  
  I have an issue with it. It is that when I use this font in MS Word words at the end of a line are split and the split segment is moved to the next line. So when I look at a word at the beginning of a line I can never be sure if it is a whole word or the end part of the word that was truncated on the previous line. It must be something wrong with the font because this behaviour never happens with the EVA Hand 1 font ( filename 'eva1.ttf' ).
  
  Does anyone have a solution to this?

  I imagine that the two fonts have completely different metrics, with `Voynich 1.01` having a more generous em quad than `EVA Hand 1`. Shrink your margins when using `Voynich 1.01`, or reduce the font size to a point size where it fits your measure. 
  
  Nothing wrong with either font, just different design characteristics.

  That does not work. TTF fonts should not behave differently by choosing a different page size or font size. Throughout my many years of using MS Word I have never seen such behaviour. I am surely not the only person here who has tried to include Voynich script in a Word document in order to a see a comparison of the different transliterations.

  I have also now found that the font doesn't display properly in WordPad either.

  I haven't used either font all that much, but I wonder if the problem isn't a different one.
  
  The word/character string that MS-Word is trying to print isn't Voynichese to the program.
  It has no idea about the language. It just sees a sequence of characters.
  
  In Eva, if you use simplified Eva, this string consists entirely of alphabetic characters.
  In v101, it almost certainly also includes digits.
  
  Whatever settings you have for splitting words in MS-Word, these are likely to work differently for alpabetic text vs. mixed letters and digits. You may want to check which word is failing and at which point in the word.

  It's the space glyph that Word does not recognize as a space.
     
  A possible workaround is to use a different font for spaces.

  Yes, that seems to be it. Word does not recognize it as a space character. Is there a fix for this?
