Ah, that's fun, now we can compare it to the (supposed) equivalent in Latin.

Di immortales, quibus et quantis me donatis gaudiis.
quadrilibrem aulam auro onustam habeo. quis me est ditior?
quis me Athenis nunc magis quisquam est homo cui di sint propitii?

Ye immortal Gods, what joy, what bliss, ye bless me with!
I have a four pound pot of gold, chock full of gold! Show me a man that's richer!
Who's the chap in all Athens now that Heaven's kinder to than me?
Joachim Greff von Zwickau
Potz lungn, potz leber, knecht hinder mich!
Wie bin ich itzt so froelich!
Ich hab ein gantzen topff mit geld:
Wer ist itzt reicher jnn der welt?
Wer ist zu Hall so glueckseliger man,
Dem itzt der liebe Gott so viel guts gan?
The translation isn't exact. For example, Greff has the servant exclaim "knecht hinder mich", by which he means that he is no longer a servant now that he found a pot of gold. What we can deduce, however, is that "Potz lungn, potz leber" is an outburst of joy in this case. (By an individual of the lowest possible class).
